Right On Time – RE: IMAGINED
The idea for this 12-inch record came after extensive work to put all Positive and Focused releases on digital platforms. While Positive and Focused is mostly known for their Youth Crew Hardcore releases, they’ve also pressed some great jazz and electro on vinyl. After connecting with some old (and new) friends, we decided to make this record all about cancer awareness and ask them to reinterpret the track “Right On Time – Cancer.” The result is a daring concept with an eclectic mix of music styles, covering Youth Crew Hardcore, Electro, Acoustic Singer-Songwriter, Stoner Rock, Metal and Emo. Enjoy.

Right On Time – The Band came together during the fallout of Urgent Kill. Unsure if he could continue to play live, Tony reached out to me and Charles (guitar/bass) about his desire to continue writing music and share his story of battling cancer. I met Tony in 2023 when my previous band (Dying For It) played with Urgent Kill in the Netherlands, and our connection was immediate. I’ve known Charles from my days working with Bystander through Safe Inside Record, so coming together for this project was a real joy for me.
